The travel team is comprised of  12 players with 5 to 6 alternates. The costs to play for the season is around $100.00 per player total plus the costs to get to the three other golf courses. When we play at the other golf courses our green fees, cart and driving range fees are all paid by the hoist team. At the same time that is why each team member pays $100 to pay for the visiting teams green fees, cart and range balls when they come to Tuscan to play. There are 3 home matches and 3 away matches and the team with the most points (36 possible points per team match or 6 points per 4 some x 6 team = 36) The 12 man/woman team is split into 2 person teams by handicap with the maximum index allowed is 18.4 or a total of 20 strokes, per NCGA. Each team member plays and individual match for 2 points and the 2 team members play a team match (best ball) for 2 points for a total of 6 point possible per team.
